Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

The latest news ...

Well, it's been awhile but I have a bunch of news to report. "The Guardian of the Gate" album will be released on Pure Steel Records in the beginning of July but you knew that already. What you didn't know is that the band returns to the studio in about a week to start recording their 4th, untitled album. Also, drummer Mike Paradine is putting the finishing touches on his first solo CD, "Death in the Family", a very personal collection of works. The album should be finished by the weekend and will be shopped to various labels. There are also a few shows coming up but the band is waiting for all the info before they post it. Well summers here and it's time for a beer..Morty

The new album, "Guardian at the Gate" was originally suppose to be released this week. The band was notified the past weekend that this has been pushed back to the end of June, early July. The reason, since Pure Steel Records had recently merged with another label, they needed a larger distribution company. They just signed a contract with a German company, H'art, which has larger distribution, which in turn is actually better for all the bands on the label. Though it seems a bit disappointing, in the long run, it is much better. Also, video editing for "Raise Your Glasses" is currently being done.

Two things....ArcticFlame will be filming their music video, "BloodMotor" at the Liquid Lounge in Bayonne, tomorrow, Tuesday April 12th at 7PM. The bar is opening just for this event so if you're in the mood for beer and some new, true metal..stop on by.. Also on Saturday, April 30th the band will be shooting the video for "Raise Your Glasses" at Pats Tavern, located at 378 Ave C in Bayonne at 2PM. It is situated on the corner of West 16th St and Avenue C. Everyone is invited to join and get in on the video shoot. All are welcome from the short to the tall to nuns and bikers..The band needs all the hard drinking, hard working people for this video. Everyone will be in the video, one way or another....
