Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame
Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

The Creeper 7.8A Wailing at Glen Coor (A tribute to Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy), 8) Burning Their Throne, 9) The Eternal...The now for 10 years active and by drummer Mike Paradine (ex-Balistik Kick) foun...ded Power Metal-band ARCTIC FLAME from the US-state New Jersey are surely no unknowns to the longer Pure Steel-followers: Already in December 2008 - after the debut album “Primeval Aggressor” (2006) – the the album “Declaration” has been released and this piece could reach some smaller, but also considerable successes in lover circles.
In the meantime, 2 ½ years have come and gone, the guitar was token by Sebastian Garcia and finally there has been a singer AC – meanwhile Michael Clayton Moore is doing the vocals. But now the brand actual, very dynamic produced album “Guardian At The Gate” has been unleashed. In total there are nine melodic songs, of which the epic bouncer “The Eternal” has an outstanding length of much more than 10 minutes.
Playing for almost 50 minutes, they show up conspicuous influences of bands like Iron Maiden, Iced Earth (mid of 90s...), but also a bit more progressive combos and expertly mix up American with European Heavy Metal. The best example for the slightly progressive influences is the song “Bloodmotor”, which will maybe remind some people – just relative to the instrumentals – of Dream Theater.
“Guardian At The Gate” has passionate been created for every headbanger, who prefers progressive, but also traditional Metal!
