Bad news/Good news.. The economy has swallowed up another one. Bassist Jon Norberg has left the band due to personal reasons. The band states, "We hope things work out for Jon and we will miss him. His contributions were influential in forming the sound of AF and wish him nothing but good luck. He will always be a part of the band." For the good news, original bassist, Jeff Scott who appeared on the first CD, "Primeval Aggressor" has rejoined the band. Jeff's energetic stage performance and rock solid bass playing will once again shake the ArcticFlame stage."Upon hearing that Jon was leaving the band, I immediately called Jeff to see if he was interested in rejoining. He came down to rehearsal and everything fell into place. Jeff will bring back that thundering bass and that insane live performance that he is known for." stated drummer Mike Paradine. The band has finished their new album titled "Drei" and is now shopping the material.

The recording and mixing for the upcoming album "Drei" were finished last night. Over the weekend the band will review the work and re-enter the studio on Tuesday to do any last minute adjustments. Light has finally come to the end of the tunnel...and hopefully it's not the front of an on coming train! Not to sit on their duffs, the band has started writing for the next album. Four to five ideas have been written and will probably be fleshed out during the week or two before they get back to rehearsals. There is a bit of more news in the pipeline so come back soon and the details will be announced shortly.

The band extends its thanks to guitarist Marcus Acosta of Lethal Strike who filled in as guest guitarist at ArcticFlames set on 8/13. With limited rehearsal, Marcus played flawlessly and the band owes Marcus a beer or 2 (dozen). Cheers!
