Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

It was found out on Saturday that basist, Jeff Scott, had performed with a fractured ankle on Friday night. X-rays showed 2 small fractures proving that nothing can stop the metal machine. The band now plans to start writing for the next album with limited performances in between. The band hopes to have news in the next day or two. Until next time...flame on....Morty

Fridays night show at The Gramercy Theater in NYC was nothing short of amazing. Once again, metal fans from the area made it one amazing night. Gamma Rays flight was a little delayed but the band made in time and performed a kick ass set along with 3 encores. AF played a 45 minute set which vocalist Michael Clayone whipped the crowd into a frenzy with his whirlwind stage performance. Jeff Scott had a slip and fall accident the night before during the snowstorm and performed on an injured ankle. Needless to say it hampered his usual maniacal stage antics but still manage to excite the crowd. Sebastian played to his true form, hypnotizing with his guitar solos and new guitarist, Alex Schuster proved to fit in the band with a solid performance and his melodic felt guiatr playing. Behind drums, Mike played his restless style. I, Morty, missed my first show in years, due to a killer hangover. The band gives many thanks to the crew at the Gramercy especially stage manager, Erin, for all their help. A big thanks to the 600 + fans who filled the theater and made the night a most notable one. Hope to see most of you at the next headbanging show!!!!
