Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Two reviews from the Overkill show at The Starland Ballroom. From Anthony at the webzine Unstoppable Force: Next up was Arctic Flame. The audience received them very nicely. Opening with “Steel Angels”, Dave belted out that first great power metal scream, as heard in the song. He was energetic and full of stage presence. The crowd was head-banging, pounding their fists, and giving the \m/ sign. This band stole the show from the other bands opening for Overkill. Other songs included in the set were “Levellers Wish” and “Kingdom of Illusion”. A new song was played, which was cool but I forget the title of it ("Desert Moon"-AF). A lot of people in the audience were not familiar with AF’s material, although after the first song, heads were banging and curiosity was flowing. After the band completed their set, the audience roared and applauded. There was even a demand for an encore, but unfortunately there was no time for one............. And from MetalFury.com: Arctic Flame are a local favorite of ours. They play an amazing blend of power/melodic Metal in the vein of Judas Priest/Queensryche/Helloween. They played a blistering set and had a VERY good crowd response. More and more people seem to be getting into this band and they really seem like they’re on the verge of taking off…watch for big things from this band in the near future........ Also, the Overkill show wiped the band out of t-shirts, so for those who ordered them, they should be here by next week. As soon as the come in, they will go out. Thanks!!!
