Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame
Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Saturdays night show with Krokus went down very well. ArcticFlame played for 45 minutes which included 3 new songs. Though space was very limited due to the small stage size, Morty did make an appearance belching out smoke while the band injected their brand of heavy metal. Krokus played an energtic set, opening with "Night Wolf" and included "Screaming in the Night". It was really cool to see this band in action. Also, long time friends,Operatica, played their unique style of metal with fast fret work and operatic style vocals. All in all, a great night of metal music. One note to point out, the band wishes to express their gratitude to the promoter, Sue Ann, who really took care of the band. The band was treated very well at Double D's and wishes all promotors were as cordial as she was. AF is looking forward to returning to Double D's on November 5th in support of SAXON.
On Sunday, AF ventured back to Froggers in Manahawkin, NJ,to an all age crowd. This was the bands third appearance at the venue. Though attendance was not as fullfilling as previous shows, the crowds enthusiasm was still apparent.

As expected, last nights attendance was sparse but the night wasn't a total loss. The band played a set that included several new songs that went over really well with the patrons that did attend. It was a good warm up set for the upcoming Krokus show on Saturday night. One note to point out is that the sound at The Quarter Deck is awesome. AF was also asked to return to The Quarter Deck to do a full nights worth of their damaging metal. Details were being hammered out last night. A November date is a possibility. Also a new show at the Pirates Den has just been added.
