Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame
Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Tuesday's night show at the Starland Ballromm looked like a big bust at first. Attendance at the venue was non existent when first band, Paradox performed. A new young band, these guys were amazing! They just need a bigger audience and they should do fine. Next up was Mikells Plot which reminded one of a party metal band, ala Poison. By the time AF took the stage, the crowd had expanded to a good size and AF did not disappoint. The band played about a 30 minute set which consisted of songs mainly from their upcoming CD, "Primeval Aggressor". Feedback was postive and many. Overkills,DD Verni's side project, The Bronx Casket Company, provided a solid set of metal. Headliners, Loudness followed and played a blazing set that impressed everyone in attendance even after 25 years. All in all, not the biggest crowd AF has played to at the Starland, but certianly a memorable one.
