Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

ArcticFlame begins pre-production work for their second CD, next week. The new album will contain about 10 new songs, most notably, the 9 minute epic, "Nosferatu" which was slated to originally appear on the "Primeval Aggressor" CD. The band describes the new material as "solid, straight-up metal. American metal welded with European metal." Mike Sabattini of the well known metal band Attacker, will be working with the the band on this outing. "The band is looking forward to working with Mike and actually have our input on this record. Plus we'll have more time to have our ideas brought to life", states drummer, Mike Paradine. With several live shows penciled in for September, the plan is to begin the recording process in October. If all goes accordingly, the new disc should be completed around a December-January time frame. Several record companies have already expressed their interest in the new untitled album. In other news.....new shows for September will be added shortly after they can be confirmed, so check back shortly.

The show at the Europa Club in Brooklyn, last Thursday, went very well. Really cool club with excellent lights, stage and sound. The decor had a real medivel feel to it. They did a real nice job here. It was great to see some old friends and the band made some new ones. Thanks to all who came. Hopefully we'll be back.
