Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame
Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

October 14th marked the completion of 3 years together as ArcticFlame. Since their first show back in 2004 as support for Thin Lizzy, each year has given the band an opportunity to grow. Aside from the many support shows for international acts (Gamma Ray was a great one!), the past year saw their debut CD released, the addition of new bassist Jon Norberg, countless reviews and interviews, their upcoming show at the Keep It True festival in Germany on November 4th plus the song "Steel Angels" being used in the indie horror movie, "Snuffin Zombies" (due to be released very soon). Not to be out done, just 1 day into their fourth year, the band has been offered another record deal which they are looking over. Recording for the untitled 2nd CD begins on November 18th with Attacker drummer/producer, Mike Sabatini at the helm. Next news update will probably be after the festival gig so stay well until next time!

Many thanks to Anthony DeLuca of Unstoppable Force for putting together the New Jersey Heavy Metal Masscre 1 & 2 shows. The Axis Lounge show was best for AF due to their postion in the lineup, plus more fans came out to see the band in the earlier slot. Not many showed or stuck around at Dingbats on Thursday due to the fact that AF went on about 1AM. But neither the less, the band performed well at both shows and were glad to hang with some of the other bands. ArcticFlames set contained mostly of songs from "Primeval Aggressor" with the exception of the newly written tune "Relentless" which will appear on the upcoming CD. Again, thanks to all who came out and to everyone involved in the Massacre!
