Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Saturdays show at Dingbatz was a bit of a weird one. First off the stage monitors did not work which made it difficult for the band to hear each others playing. The band members were basically flying by the seat of their pants, but as Denis Gulby of Sentienel Steel records said that night, "Hey, that's rock n roll." How true. You gotta make the best of what you got. Next was AF's Spinal Tap moment,as the fog machine attached to Morty the Orbs' head, malfunctioned. It continually spewed fog into the club to the point where you couldn't see the band on stage. The band had a good laugh while stage manager Steve Campbell cursed his way over to the machine and pulled the plug. After about ten minutes, the band began to come into focus and Morty was forced into hibernation for the night. Heavy metal is a beautiful thing!!! Thanks to the usual Flameheads that came out plus new friends Kris and Hollywood, Collen and Mark, Mimmie and Ray, Jackie,Maureen and Lauren, Thelma and Louise, and all the others. Also thanks to Denis for making the trek out to the club. A big shout out to Erik for lending a hand. Thirdly, congratulations to friends, Malakis Reign, for getting signed. As for progress on recording the next CD, it should resume at the end of the month. Dates had to be rescheduled as Attacker needed to come into the studio and lay down tracks for some new material. And finally, some new shows should be popping up shortly, so stayed tuned.
