Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Well the band hoped everyone had a great Christmas and that the holiday hangover isn't too severe. Nothing too much to report except that things are slowly progressing with the new album. The band will also be contributing to a Deep Purple tribute album with their version of "Flight of the Rat" off DP's "In Rock" album. Aside from the 3 shows as support for Primial Fear, there are no other live performances planned for 2014 at this time but is expected to change. Til next time..have a Happy and safe New Years....

A review from Metal Covenant from the show supporting Helloween at the Newport Music Hall 9/29/13.. Arctic Flame Arctic Flame - those lords of the wasteland that is New Jersey - had very little time on stage to win over the crowd with their primeval aggression, but they definitely succeeded at shaking the foundatiions for both sides of the ballistic club. In fact, after the show I even purchased their full colour gatefold vinyl shaped 'Shake The Earth' CD for only $10, which was an excellent marketing idea on their behalf. They chose to play just one song, give or take from their four full-length albums. It was a real treat to see them play Columbus because they were graced by Ohio's own Eric Moore from The Godz for a riotous rendition of "Hey You". Overall, I was quite impressed with their artistic declaration. Performance: 7 chalices of 10 Stage sound: 7 chalices of 10 Best: Lords Of The Wasteland Worst: --- Setlist: Two Sides Of The Bullet Leveler's Wish Hey You (Godz Cover With Eric Moore) Lords Of The Wasteland

Now that the smoke has cleared as well as my head, Sundays night show at the Newport Music Hall in support of Helloween was nothing short of amazing. With only a 20 minute set, the band threw Columbus Ohio into a frenzy. Joining the band on stage was Eric Moore, legendary front man of The Godz. The band blistered through the Godz song, "Hey You" to a triumph audience reaction. AF won over many a fan that night draining them of merchandise. "Two Sides of the Bullet" and "Levellers Wish" started the set followed by "Hey You" and ending with "Lords of the Wasteland" that literally had the crowd screaming wild. Video of the song can be seen below. Plans are under way for the band to return to the Ohio are shortly. A many metal thanks to the maniacs of Ohio.
