The band has been slowly working on a couple of new projects. First off, new material for the 3rd CD has been discussed. Song titles and lyrics have been brought up and soon will be fleshed out with music ideas in the upcoming weeks. Also planned, is a series of EP's the band hopes to release in between the full length CD's. These EP's will fall under the title, "The Salem Gun Witch". The story goes...."Having endured the ridicule by his father during his childhood plus the upbringing in a strict Irish catholic household, a man acts out against his tortured memories. Haunted by the taunts of not living up to his father’s expectations and also being compared to the neighborhood kids, he swore that anyone who would put their self worth above others would be dealt with accordingly. Once a year, on the eve of All Hallows Eve, he takes to the sky upon his rocket broom, equipped with dual Gatlin guns, armed with a variety of gunnery and ammunition (ie the Cerberus missile), he hunts down those on his death list. His thoughts and memories of yesterday have brought out his actions of today. Parenting, wether good or bad, has an everlasting influence upon their spawn." "Once his victim is locked into the scope of his weaponry, he reminds them that despite of social class, race, profession, talent and power, all men came into this world with nothing more than a name. What a man does with his life between birth and death determines the value of his name, and most important, is that no man is better than the next. All men have strengths and weakness but if it is shared equally, the world becomes void of discrimination, hate and ridicule. Having said this, he dispenses their final act of contrition as he sees fit, which is a violent and bloody death. He then sends any next of kin a letter of an apology but also that the sins of the father must not be passed on to any future generation. “The sins must be buried along with the sinner” is the last mantra of the Salem Gun Witch." The concept and lyrics of the story was written by drummer, Mike Paradine when the band first got together but was shelved to concentrate on the bands main material for the "Primeval Aggressor" album. Recently singer Dave Lowe expressed interest in resurrecting the EP idea and was decided to write a series to continue the story. The first EP will be titled, "Act of Contrition, The Salem Gun Witch." The second EP, is now being written lyrically and will tell how the Salem Gun Witch came to be, by tracing back the steps to his childhood. This second collection of songs are called, "The Salem Gun Witch, The Puritanical Standpoint". The recordings will be very basic using a 16 digital track system with no fancy, slick studio tricks, just raw heavy metal and will never be performed in public. Bassist Jon Norberg has written most of the musical ideas for the first EP. The band has no plans at this time, to release it through a record company and hopes to release it themselves sometime in the summer 2008.

Ok, once again the Grave Digger show that was moved to the Highline Ballroom has been moved back to BB Kings on March 2nd. All tickets will be honored.

Happy New Year to everyone! The show at Ace of Clubs was a lot of fun. Good to close out the year on a positive note. Many thanks to Jason Perez for occupying the vacant guitar slot. Excellent job and with only a few rehearsals! Thanks to all those you came out and saw great performances by all the bands.
