Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame
Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

ArcticFlame is holed up in rehearsals writing for the 3rd CD. The band will not be activley seeking shows at this time. This doesn't mean they won't entertain any offers that come in but just won't be doing it themselves. It's been said that some of the new material has some thrashy elements to it. About 9 songs have been brought to the table and they arenow just fleshing them out. They will be rehearsing and writing both the full length album and "The Salem Gun Witch" EP at the same time. Plans are to start recording in the early summer but as the band says, not everything goes as planned.

The show on Friday night at DiGiorgios was the better of all the week's bookings. Thrash band, Lethal Strike was in attendance and was asked to do a half hour set prior to AF's performance. Though the band was not scheduled, they were asked and performed a kick ass set. Much thanks to the boys in Lethal Strike. AF provided the usual heavy metal attack with not only songs from both of their releases but also, for the first time, some classic metal songs. Deep Purples, "Highway Star", "Smoke on the Water" to Judas Priests "Hellbent for Leather", "Breaking the Law" and Maiden's "Aces High" to Sabbath's "NIB", completed the cover material. Audience participation was prevalent throughout the night which made it to remember. The band wishes to express their gratitude to Jason Perez who filled in for guitarist, Rod Mariani, during the past weeks shows. An amazing guitarist and a good guy to hang around with, the band is looking forward to working with him as a co-producer for the next album. Next performance is Saturday, March 28th at The Cherrywood Rock club with Faith Factor and Ravage for the March Metal Madness show.
