Welcome to the online home of ArcticFlame

Fire, the passion and belief in one's music and one's self. Ice, the ability to ignore all who criticize or think they know what's best and continue doing what you believe in. These are just two of the qualities found in heavy metal's newest member, ArcticFlame. In a world where everyone follows the flavor of the month, AF sticks to their guns and creates music they grew up on and continue to enjoy.

Lost a hours sleep yesterday because of the hour time change forward but yesterdays recording sessions went well. All drum tracks for the remaining songs, "Guardain at the Gate", "Raise Your Glasses", "Burning Their Throne", "BloodMotor" and Jon Norborgs 10 munute epic, doom piece, "The Eternals" were completed. Guitars will commence in the next couple days. Vocalist Michael Clayton Moore has finally given a new title and lyrics to the song formerly known as "Cult". It will now be known as "My Slice of Hell".

Just got back from the recording sessions for drums. Very, very impressed with the studio itself, (Subterranean Recording Studios) and John Forrestal, who is a recording genius. An up and coming producer/engineer, that everyone will be hearing about in the future. We had to cut the sessions a little short because of the torrential rain storm that danced into the area. Roads were flushed out and trees were split in half. Nether the less, drum tracks were done for "The Creeper", "A Wailing at Glen Corr", "Falkenfels" and the tentative titled song, "Cult". We resume tomorrow,...Rain all you want but you can't put of the Flame......Sitting down and having a beer and cigar after a very productive day........See ya in a day or two..Morty

Just found this small review about the show on Sunday: "Guess who saw Hammerfall last night? Zeratul! Here's a rundown of the concert." "Arctic Flame: Awesome band that kind of reminded me of Falconer. Each member was obviously very skilled at their particular instrument, and the bassist in particular stood out. According to one of the people I met at the concert their old vocalist was awful, but the new guy is great! Also their lead guitarist almost always looked like he was about to start laughing his ass off which I found amusing."
